We have a strong environmental ethos and view sustainability as a priority. Our timber is sourced from sustainably managed Devon woodlands and compost is collected in recycled food containers.
No Water or Electric
Thunderbox compost toilets are entirely off-grid, requiring no water or electricity. Add one of our ToGo packs if solar lighting is required. We can also provide hand sanitiser dispensers for waterless locations.
Hand Made To Order
Our Thunderboxes are constructed using timber from our local sustainably managed woodlands. Whilst we may have some materials in stock, please allow time for construction. We ask for a 50% deposit in advance and will advise on lead in time once this is received.
Our Double Thunderbox from £2625
Two cubicles for extra user comfort
From forest schools to camp sites, event sites and allotments, our double Thunderbox provides additional cubicle space for communal situations or where male and female cubicles are required. With two seats back to back, they are easy to erect and maintain and can even be installed in locations where vehicle access is restricted. Made from durable softwood timber such as western red cedar, they come as a DIY self assembly pack with all fixings and a set of assembly instructions. No ground works are required - just a level site. These are the basis of our hire fleet and are designed to be easily dismantled, which will be necessary to change the tank.
