We have a strong environmental ethos and view sustainability as a priority. Our timber is sourced from sustainably managed Devon woodlands and compost is collected in recycled food containers.
No Water or Electric
Thunderbox compost toilets are entirely off-grid, requiring no water or electricity. Add one of our ToGo packs if solar lighting is required. We can also provide hand sanitiser dispensers for waterless locations.

Whilst we usually construct Thunderboxes to order using timber from our local sustainably managed woodlands, we are downsizing our hire fleet and have a few ex hire Thunderboxes available now. They are structurally sound but may have some cosmetic faults and are the perfect solution where off grid pop up toilet facilities are required.

A simple toilet solution for temporary locations
From pop up camp sites to event provision, our ex hire Thunderboxes are the answer where temporary toilet facilities are needed on a short term basis. Based on our double Thunderbox, our ex hire units are constructed from lighter timber such as spruce or poplar and are designed for temporary rather than permanent situations. They are easy to deploy and can even be installed in locations where vehicle access is restricted. Each comes as a self assembly kit with all fixings and 2 urine collection barrels. Whilst they are structurally sound, the panels will show signs of weathering and there may be some cosmetic faults.
